Our Story

Emmanuelle and Marco arrived in 2009 with a dream of sharing French street food with New Zealanders.

Originally from the South of France, Emmanuelle worked in the marketing license department of well known Entertainment companies such as Europacorp or popular TV channel TF1. Passionate about travel and food, New Zealand seemed the perfect place to start her own business together.

Part French- Part New Zealander, Marco spend fifteen years in France setting up a successful chauffeur- driven service company. Also passionate about food, Marco has brought the perfect understanding between the French and New Zealand culinary culture making the menu world-famous in Wellington.

The couple started with the Manners Mall shop, a nice little “hole in the wall”, then opened a bistrot type in Petone two years later and opened in Ponsonby Central in 2014.
